Italian contractor Tirrena Scavi was tapped by Romania’s public road company CNAIR to design and build the Timisoara Sud ring road, according to Economica.net. The contract is worth €58m, with financing coming from European Union cohesion funds. The terms stipulate that the project should be completed within 30 months, including six months for design. There is also a 10-year warranty. The ring road covers 25.7 km.
