Retail sales in Hungary increased by 6.6 percent y-o-y, based on raw data, and by 5.7 percent adjusted for calendar effects, according to recent figures published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH). The sales volume, adjusted for calendar effects, rose by 4.1 percent in specialized and non-specialized food shops, by 8.3 percent in non-food retail, and by 4.4 percent in automotive fuel retail, according to KSH.
