The Praedium Group has paid $46.7m for a multifamily property in Jacksonville, Florida. Point at Town Center was completed earlier this year and features eight, three-story apartment buildings and a clubhouse/leasing center. Community amenities include a swimming pool and shaded pool pavilion with a summer kitchen, yoga lawn and a dog park. The property is in close proximity to the University of North Florida, St. Vincent’s Medical Center as well as downtown Jacksonville and the Jacksonville airport. The Point at Town Center is close to many of Jacksonville’s largest employers, including Deutsche Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Johnson & Johnson Vision. “Additionally, there are 2,700 specified high-paying jobs coming in the immediate area over the next year, in addition to other unspecified jobs from nearby expansions such as the Mayo Clinic and Deutsche Bank,” said Lindsay Schuckman, associate at The Praedium Group.
