Last week at the CIJ Awards, Wilsons celebrated a major achievement after it won the Best Law Firm prize for its work over the past year. There was heavy competition for the prize this year with several other legal heavyweights among the nominated firms. But the result of the voting, a combination of jury deliberations and online voting, pointed towards the indepdendent law firm. Co-founder Bryan Wilson thanked his team, which joined him on stage to receive the prize, emphasizing the importance of the recognition. “This is a prize which means a great deal to all of us because the whole group has worked incredibly hard over the past 12 months,” he said. “It’s a fantastic achievement.” He, along with partner and co-founder Martin Bendik also thanked the company’s clients and partners. Wilsons works extensively with major real estate developers and investors active in the Czech Republic as well as in Slovakia. In a rare double victory, Wilson had returned to the CIJ Awards Slovakia stage earlier last week by securing the Best Law Firm accolades in Bratislava as well.
