Trammell Crow has acquired a 90-acre site at the Valley View Business Park in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The seller was the Scranton Lackawanna Industrial Building Company. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. The new owner is planning to build a 1 million sq ft speculative distribution facility that will feature a 190-foot deep truck court with opposing trailer storage, ESFR fire protection, 311 trailer parking spots and 159 dock positions. The project will also provide economic and tax incentives, qualifying as a Keystone Opportunity Expansion Zone as well as for the Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance program. CBRE Allentown will handle the leasing and marketing of the project.
