According to the Lithuanian Department of Statistics the value of construction work carried out in the third quarter the country reached €904m. That’s 1.7 percent lower than in Q2, however more than 17 percent higher than the same period in 2017. Construction of residential buildings made up 16.9 percent of all construction work in Lithuania, totaling €152.7m. Construction of non-residential buildings made up 34.8 percent (€314.5m) and civil engineering 48.3 percent (€436.8) of the total. In the first three quarters of 2018, more than €2 billion worth of construction work was completed, 17.8 percent more than the same period last year.
