Fujitsu General America has signed a 155,000 sq ft lease at the Rockefeller Group Logistics Center in Piscataway, New Jersey. The company is consolidating and expanding its New Jersey distribution operations into this facility. Fujitsu General provides ductless cooling, heating systems and VRF technology for residential and commercial use. It will distribute air conditioners, heat pumps and other products from the location to customers throughout the Northeast. Rockefeller Group and its joint venture partner PCCP are developing the five-building center which will total 2.1 million sq ft.
“In order to best serve our customers in the Northeast, we felt it was important to consolidate our operations in Middlesex County,” said Matt Peterson, president and COO at Fujitsu General. “Rockefeller Group Logistics Center provides us with a location that is not only close to the Port Elizabeth, but the facility we are moving to is state-of-the-art, and it essentially doubles the capacity of our existing distribution center.”
