The Bosnian government secured a €180m loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the construction of three new sections of the pan-European Corridor Vc. The total length of these new sections will cover around 15.8 km. The loan will be divided into two tranches. The EBRD will provide up to €120m in the first tranche, which will cover the construction of motorway between Poprikusa to Nemila and Tunnel Ivan. The second tranche, totaling €60m, will cover costs related to the motorway section between Mostar South Interchange and Tunnel Kvanj. The EU will co-finance €11.8m in an investment grant through the Western Balkans Investment Framework. This grant is expected to be approved in December.
