Lightstone buys Bronx apartments for $53m

The Lightstone Group has paid a combined $53 million for a portfolio of three rent-stabilized apartment buildings in the Bronx. Located in the borough’s Pelham Parkway neighborhood, the properties contain a total of 223 units serviced by elevators. Trading for just under $237,670 per unit, the deal was completed with a $28 million acquisition loan provided by Dime Community Bank. Cushman & Wakefield’s Jonathan Squires Robert Shapiro and Michael Fioravanti represented the seller in the transaction.
