7 September 2018

The Czech property group CPI recorded a 21 percent increase in revenues over the first half of 2018 to €245m, or CZK 6.3bn, according to the daily Hospodářské noviny. Its operational profit jumped a full 26 percent to €156m. “Our results are incredible,” said CPI director Martin Němeček. We’re prospering in hotels or other business lines. We’ve also succeeded in getting a lot of work done on reducing debt.” The company has also made important acquisitions this year, including the Futurum shopping center in Hradec Králové and the Polish HopStop shopping center which it acquired from the developer Katharsi. CPI will focus in the coming months on modernizing its portfolio of shopping centers.
