Shaner Hotels opened the newly completed Fairfield Inn & Suites Harrisburg. The 123-room property sits on land leased from the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority (SARAA), a joint-municipal authority that operates four regional airports. The property is just steps from Hersheypark, Hershey’s Chocolate World, the PSU Hershey Medical Center, downtown Harrisburg and Penn State’s Harrisburg campus. The four-story hotel’s amenities include on-site laundry, a fitness room, a business center and 1,600 sq ft of meeting space.
