Variplast invests €2.5m in new plant in Bosnia

Variplast invested about €2.5m in its new production plant in Gracanica, northeastern Bosnia. This plastic processing company is planning to increase its output as well as add a number of new jobs to the local labor force. The new production plant will offer 3,000 sqm. Variplast currently employs 92 people and plans to hire 10 more. The company was established in the 1980s by the Hasic family. It produces plastics for the food, textile, construction, chemical and consumer industries. Its products are exported to Sweden, Holland, Serbia, Croatia and Denmark.
