The average sale price for a flat in Prague for a flat at the end of June rose 8.3 percent compared to a year ago, reaching a level of CZK 100,300 per sqm. However, the pace of price growth is slowing, writes Aktualne.cz, as prices were rising by 22.5 percent in the middle of last year. The server also writes that developers brought just over 1,300 new flats to the market during May and June, with Deloitte analyst Petra Hana saying that most of them are located in new phases of existing schemes. “May and June brought the most flats to the Prague residential market since 2014,” said Hana. “At the same time, they’ve increased their efforts to sell off the more expensive flats in completed projects.”
