The T.E group has completed construction of the shell of its greenest ever residential project, Sakura, located in the Prague 5 neighborhood of Košíře. Named after a Japanese cherry tree, the project includes a series of suspended gardens as well a a number of hi-tech and energy saving solutions. Construction is being carried out by T.E Construction Management. “Sakura is a unique project for this country, which will literally drown in green,” says T.E group partner Martin Hubinger. He explained that the Japanese cherry tree the company placed on the roof is the first of 32,000 plants being prepared for the project. Just half of the 67 flats remain on sale. The investor chose Jestico + Whiles to design the Sakura.
