Austrian-owned furniture maker ADA Hungária opened a production hall at its base in Körmend, western Hungary. The cost of the investment totals HUF 1.2bn. The production hall offers 7,500 sqm and will house offices, storage and a development area. The facility will be mainly centered on research and development. ADA has production facilities in Austria, Hungary and Romania. The company produces 41,000 pieces of furniture annually, 97 percent of which is exported.
