S+B Gruppe bought the Jabłonowski Palace in Warsaw from Commerz Real. The property offers 17,000 sqm of leasable space on four floors. It was built between 1773 and 1785 for Antoni Jabłonowski based on a design by Jakub Fontana and Domenico Merlini. Cushman & Wakefield represented Commerz Real in the transaction process. “The Jabłonowski Palace located on Senatorska street is an iconic office building in Warsaw’s historic city center, and we are very proud of having represented Commerz Real in the disposal of this very special property that is the registered seat of mBank, one of Poland’s leading financial institutions,” said Soren Rodian Olsen, partner with the capital markets group at Cushman & Wakefield. “This transaction pays tribute to older and historical buildings being able to compete for institutional capital in Warsaw’s booming office market.”
