27 July 2018

In their interim report for the first 6 months of 2018 Cramo have reported profits of €35.5 million, up 13.2 percent on the same period last year. This comes as a result of increased sales, up 6.9 percent, from €340.9 million to €364.3 million. The improvement was primarily driven by the acquisition of KBS Infra GmbH in February, which boosted sales by €11.6 million. The period also saw organic sales growth of 8.6 percent compared to the previous year. However, the effect of exchange rate changes on sales was -€10.6 million. Cramo expects to see continued growth in the second part of 2018 in line with Euroconstruct estimates, which anticipate 3.4 percent growth in the Finnish construction market and 4-5 percent in the Baltic nations. Rental operations forecasts indicate a 5 percent rise in Finland and a 2 percent rise in the Baltic countries.
