Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has expanded its network in Montenegro. The Spanish hotel group opened its newest property in Perast along the Bay of Kotor. The five-star, 65-room Iberostar Grand Perast is located in the reconstructed Smekja palace, which was originally built in 1764. Iberostar Hotels & Resorts started operating in Montenegro in 2005, when it opened the Iberostar Bellevue hotel in Budva. This May, the group opened Iberostar Herceg Novi. In total, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has three hotels with 848 rooms along the Montenegrin coast.
