Prologis Europe ended the second quarter of this year with a record occupancy rate of 97.2 percent, thanks to increased demand in its southern markets. During the quarter, Prologis signed 343,000 sqm of new leases and 631,000 sqm of lease renewals in its operating and development portfolio. The company reported that it owned or had investments in, on a wholly-owned basis or through co-investment ventures, properties and development projects totaling 16.7 million sqm in Europe.
