Passenger numbers at Prague’s international airport jumped 10 percent over the first half of the yea, with a total of 7.46 million people using the airport’s services. As usual, the biggest number of people were on their way to Great Britain, but the biggest growth in total travellers was connected with Spain (in particular Barceloa). The airport’s chairman of the board Václav Řehoř said he expects the current growth to continue into next year and that the final count for the year should get ready for bed. A new connection to Philadelphia has had a huge impact, improving the annual figures close to the 17 millions passengers for the year.
