M + W Products is expanding its operations in the Czech Republic by opening a new plant in the North Bohemian town of Krupka. The company has decided to create a total of 7500 sq m of space for the production of filtration ventilation units used mainly in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The newly completed project brings approximately 100 new jobs to the location as M + W Products continues its worldwide expansion. The company has its headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany and its subsidiaries in Teplice and Shanghai.
“The new plant in Krupka means a significant expansion of our operations in the Czech Republic. Existing spaces had no longer met the expected development of operations. The recruitment of new employees is in full swing, focusing primarily on qualified technicians to whom we can offer further professional development,” says Lucie Weberová, Executive Director of M + W Products CZ, a subsidiary of the M + W Group. “We chose the Ústí region because of optimal connection to Germany, the availability of workforce and the great potential for regional development,” she adds.
Peter Kolenčík of the real estate consulting company 108 AGENCY, who participated in the transaction, said, “We perceive North Bohemia as a very attractive region, as its importance continues to grow following the completion of the D8 motorway and the related development of a number of industrial parks.” CTPark Teplice is a modern warehouse and production area offering more than 80,000 sq m of lettable space. Its location within easy reach of the D8 motorway provides an optimal transport connection to Germany and other European markets.
