The Capgemini consultancy estimates that the number of dollar millionaires in the Czech Republic grew 10.8 percent over the past year to 28,000. It writes that the figure is just slightly faster than the pace set across the world (10.6 percent) and that the total assets they control grew 13 percent to $68.5 billion. The term dollar millionaire applies to individuals who have investments, including real estate, collector’s items or consumer goods. One of the primary drivers of the rising numbers of millionaires, writes Capgemini, are increases in real estate prices.
