Hub Ventures takes co-working concept public

13 June 2018

Hub Ventures, which claims to be the largest operator of shared office space in the Czech Republic, is gearing up to go public later this mont on the Prague bourse’s Start market. Investors began making orders at the beginning of the week in a fund raising exercise expected to take in as much as CZK 90m. Hub Ventures had hoped to begin offering shares back in May, when the Prague bourse launched the Start market, but transforming the company from an s.r.o into a shareholding company proved to be too time-consuming. “Every day that goes by proves that co-working makes sense,” said one of three owners of the company, Zdeněk Rudolský. “Shares work space is seeing a huge global boom. More and more people are using or at least thinkign about using it.” There are currently 61 co-working spaces in the Czech Republic, according to Lidové noviny. Of these 26 are located in Prague.
