The Financial Times is planning to open a technology center in Sofia later this year. FT’s core technology team, responsible for maintaining FT.com’s internal systems, will work out of the center. The team supports online subscription software, the distribution of print media and content publishing. The Financial Times is headquartered in London. The company will hire 100 people over the next 12 months, including software engineers, business analysts and project and product management specialists, to work at the Sofia center.
