Liverpool football star Dejan Lovren is venturing into the Croatian hotel market. Lovren, who also plays for the Croatian national football team, invested €3m to build a new luxury four-star hotel on the island of Pag. Hotel Joel is set to open in the coming weeks. The property features 17 apartments and is located in the heart of Novalja. The island is famous for Zrce Beach, one of Croatia’s biggest summertime party zones.
