The Port of Crikvenica along the west coast of Croatia is set to undergo a €4.3m upgrade. The funds will be used to renovate the existing port and to build a secondary 135-meter long, five-meter high breakwater. The EU will cover €3.7m of the costs, with the remaining €663,000 to be financed by national funds. Construction is expected to take 56 months, with completion scheduled for December 2021.
