The 134-meter Majakka Tower, part of Helsinki’s new REDI district, is nearing completion. When completed, the tower, going up in the capital’s old harbor district, will be the tallest residential building in Finland. In addition to Majakka Tower, five other residential buildings are under construction on the site as well as what is set to be the largest shopping and entertainment center in Helsinki. The 60,000 sqm shopping center is scheduled to open this fall.
