The concept of shared office space is growing in Prague, albeit from small beginnings. Cushman & Wakefield reports that as of the end of 2017, there was 16,500 sqm of this new form of business accommodation. But it claims that another 11,000 sqm of space will be delivered during the year, marking an increase of 66 percent. There are 43 shared office centers in Prague now, including three that have opened already during the course of 2018: Coworking Port in Prague 8, and Work Lounge. More are on the way, according to C&W. HubHub at Na Příkopech 14 with a total area of 2 000 sqm will open in June, while Skanska Property’s Visionary project will deliver the biggest such space, with 4 700 sqm to be operated by Business Link. Its opening is planned for July 2018.
