The developer Linkcity has secured a planning permit for a new logistics park to be called LiNK Nitra West, located in the Lužianka industrial zone along the R1 express road. It’s the second project the developer has gotten underway in the region, following the start of construction at LiNK Hradec Králové. The project calls for the creation of 108,000 sqm of leasable area, with work scheduled to begin over the summer. This would enable a first quarter of 2019 completion date. Linkcity’s director David Labardin says the new space will be divided into three buildings that are being designed so as to achieve a high level BREEAM certficate. VCES, a sister company of Linkcity, will be the general contractor on the project.
