Brookdale Senior Living bought a senior housing community in Palm Beach Gardens for $74.5m. The seller was an affiliate of the California-based health care real estate investment trust HCP Inc. The price of the 317-unit asset comes in at just over $235,015 per room. The company financed the deal with a $139m loan from Grandbridge Real Estate Capital for multiple properties. The transaction is likely part of HCP’s larger $275m sale of six of its properties to Brookdale.
