The HOF Awards 2018 took place last night at the Prague Marriott Hotel in front of an enthusiastic crowd with guests from around Central and Eastern Europe. And while not everyone who made the trip to Prague won prizes yesterday, there was a high degree of geographic diversity among the winners. The HOF Awards pits all the winners of the CIJ Awards series (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Serbia) against each other to determine who will carry away the ultimate prize of Best of the Best.
This year’s contestants were competing at the end of a strong year at a time when the region’s markets have been booming thanks to strong economic growth. The ambition of the project nominations reflected this, while the high quality of their execution makes it clear that the property sector in CEE and SEE has truly come of age. The HOF Awards are an excellent showcase for this amazing rise in development standards.
