The Czech-based Accolade Group is investing around CZK 750m into construction of Park Bialystok in Poland. Work will be divided into three phases resulting in a total of 40,500 sqm of leasable industrial and logistics space. Already, 21,600 sqm has been leased, with Pilkington among the first tenants with 10,000 sqm. “Park Bialystok is Accolade’s sixth investment in Poland,” says the company’s CEO Milan Kratina. He says it’s the first in the region that will be able to offer flexible space for light industrial or logistics uses. “It fits our concept of going into Poland’s main regional centers perfectly,” he continued, saying the towns Accolade chooses are typically around the size of Brno. The fact that nearly half of the park is already pre-leased proves the strategy is correct, he claims, adding that Pilkington’s lease is for ten years.
