Siemens is planning to start producing rail vehicles in Kragujevac, central Serbia. The company will produce trams to start and later other rail vehicles. The news follows Siemens’ takeover of the company Milanovic Inzenjering in February. Milanovic Inzenjering had produced aluminum components for rail cars for Siemens. Siemens is planning to expand the capacity of the plant in Kragujevac over the next two years.
