TMD Group, which manufactures parts for the automotive industry, is poised to open a new production plant in Gradacac, northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the next few months. The company is already planning to break ground on another plant this summer on a 14,000 sqm plot in Gradacac’s industrial zone, where it expects to invest €20m over the next three years. All products produced there will be exported.
The company also has plans to expand and invest in Croatia. Together with a partner from Germany, TMD Group bought land in Babina Greda, eastern Croatia. The development is expected to cost between €10m and €12m and should be completed in two years. TMD Group has 671 employees, working in four factories, and produces parts for the automotive industries in Kovgrad, Sarajevo, Brcko and Gradacac.
