Skanska broke ground on the second office building at its Nowy Rynek complex in Poznan, near the city’s Dworzec Glowny railway station and Old Town. The building will provide 12,000 sqm of office space. Completion is set for third quarter of 2019. The project’s first phase, which includes two office buildings, was designed by Maćków Pracownia Projektowa. Skanska hopes to secure Building without Barriers certification for Nowy Rynek. This means that the project’s facilities will be adjusted to the needs of people with disabilities, parents with children, seniors and those who do not speak Polish.
