The Czech unions association is holding a public tender for the sale of its headquarters in Prague 3. The functionalist highrise has been occupied by unions since the 1950s but today, they’re able to use just 20 percent of the building and are unwilling to foot the bill for its maintenance and operations any more. The unions will be given two years from the date of the sale to find a new headquarters building. The decision to sell the building, located on Winston Churchill Square, was taken last year. Three connected buildings are included in the sale as are two pieces of land in front of the Žižkov football stadium
