Barings Real Estate has appointed Daniel Köhler director of debt capital markets and structured real estate investments in Europe. Köhler will be responsible for executing financing solutions for Barings’ European portfolio of equity investment properties and levered-loan strategies. He will operate across Europe and will be based in Munich. Köhler, who will report to US-based Nasir Alamgir, brings more than 12 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and debt management. He previously worked at Invesco Real Estate, Landesbank Berlin and Bayerische Landesbank.
