Zalando Lounge, the shopping club of Europe’s online fashion platform Zalando, is planning to build a 130,000 sqm logistics center near Olsztynek. The facility, to be developed by Hillwood, will be staffed by up to 500 employees. JLL helped Zalando find the land. “Zalando’s extensive investment activities in our country confirm the excellent condition of the e-commerce sector. Global players select Poland because of the location, improving infrastructure and attractive rent rates along with an extensive employment pool. This time Zalando Lounge decided in favor of Olsztynek because of the availability of attractively located investment land parcels, the potential of the local labor market as well as access to expressways S51 and S7,” said Tomasz Olszewski, head of industrial for the CEE region at JLL.
