Morgan Stanley, one of the leading investment banks on the global market, is poised to enter Romania following its takeover of AEW Europe, which is leaving the country after a decade of operation. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of this year. Morgan Stanley operates only two other offices in the region, in Poland and Hungary. The US real estate platform manages assets worth $33bn.
