Each new office leasing contract signed in Bucharest last year created on average 130 new jobs, according to the latest JLL market report. The city’s Dimitrie Pompeiu and South areas reported the biggest lease volumes, with more than 200 new jobs per transaction. As a result, net office take-up in Bucharest, including expansions and new leases, reached 171,000 sqm, a 10-percent increase compared to 2016. The average office lease was approximately 1,300 sqm, according to JLL.
