Choice Hotels International has promoted Brian Kirkland to the position of Chief Technology Officer. He’ll be overseeing the company’s overall information technology strategy, development and operations, reporting to the senior VP John Bonds. Having joined the firm in 2015, Kirkland most recently served as vice president of engineering. Prior Choice Hotels, Kirkland held leadership and software development positions at leading technology companies, GoDaddy and Media Temple. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s in business administration from Arizona State University.
