Hamburg-based KBNK Architekten won an an architecture competition to design a mixed-use scheme in Mainz for Heureka Development and SoReal, a subsidiary of Vienna’s Soravia Group. The project will go up on a 17,000 sqm site, located on Rheinallee near the city’s landmark port, and will include a hotel and residential units. The target investment volume is €56m. Construction is scheduled to start in 2019.
