Penta open to further infrastructure investment in Bory

23 January 2018

Penta Investments has already spent €30m on infrastructure investments in Bory, a district on the northwest edge of Bratislava, but it’s willing to spend more, if necessary. That was the message from its press spokesman Gabriel Toth, who said that the current traffic solution should serve the district until 2030. However, the company is also willing to take part in building public infrastructure to the area, which the city hopes will eventually enjoy tram service. “One of the specific steps for cooperation, however, is the completion of a feasibility study for this type of traffic solution, which we’v had don at our own expense,” said Toth. He added that Penta would be open to the idea of opening a train station and a Park & Ride facility in the zone. The developer completed the Bory shopping mall a few years ago and is currently building a new residential zone in the area.
