21 December 2017

FCI Residential has submitted plans for a $80 million apartment complex in downtown Boca Raton. The project, called Camino Square, calls for a 350 unit development to be split over two eight story buildings, two parking garages and a public dog park. FCI Residential is the development arm of sugarcane giant Florida Crystals. The proposed scheme would be built on the eastern half of a 9-acre site of a defunct shopping center owned by Kimco Realty Corp., which plans to build a retail project on the western half of the site. Florida Crystals is run by the Fanjul family, which also owns Domino Sugar.
