FOX Sports renews at Broward Financial Centre in Ft. Lauderdale

FOX Sports Florida has signed a 24,290 square foot office renewal at the Broward Financial Centre in the Fort Lauderdale Central Business District. The building’s owner, Miami-based FTL 500 Corp., also rebranded the building with the regional sports station logo atop the building. Located at 500 East Broward Boulevard, the 24-story, 325,486 sqf Class A office tower features an on-site Morton’s Steak House, with valt parking, a 24-hour concierge and security desk. Fox Sports Florida is a regional sports network affiliated with 21st Century Fox providing local sports coverage in the South Florida, Tampa and Orlando markets. Cushman & Wakefield represented FOX Sports Florida while the building owner was represented by ComReal’s Tim Talbot.

“We succeeded in subleasing a full floor of vacant space in the building for our client, Sun-Sentinel, thus enabling building-top signage to come available. After convincing building ownership of the benefits of adding FOX Sports’ name to the top of the building, our client followed our lead quickly, and we were able to finalize lease terms before the Sun-Sentinel sign was removed,” said Cushman & Wakefield’s Executive Director Jeff Holding.
