Michael C. Brown has joined Skanska USA as executive vice president/general manager to lead its building operations in the state of Florida. With over 30 years of business development and project management experience Brown will lead strategic growth for Skanska’s building operations in the region and focus on driving customer support, operational efficiency, and sustainability. He’ll be based in the Tampa office, but will also oversee the Miami and Orlando offices. Prior to joining Skanska, Brown worked for 19 years at Gilbane Building Company and has worked for Turner Construction and Barton Malow. Brown earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and is a registered professional engineer.
