German discount supermarket chain Penny Market opened a logistics center in Veszprém, western Hungary, following a HUF 9bn investment. The facility offers 26,500 sqm and can hold 15,000 pallets. It is the company’s third logistics center in Hungary, where is operates 208 stores. The company posted HUF 190bn in sales revenue and a HUF 488m after-tax profit last year.
