A new luxury eco-resort is being built in the Skadar national park in Montenegro. The value of the scheme, which is to be built by the Italian company Pizzarotti and the Montenegro Resort Company, is estimated to be €160m. The Indian Oberol Group will manage the hotel, for whose construction the strictest environmental standards are to be adhered to. The complex will have a hotel with 51 apartments, ranging in size from 80 sqm – 100 sqm, and 30 luxury villas for rent. Work is expected to get underway at the beginning of 2018 and is due to finish in 2022. Luxury Resort and Spa will employ between 200 and 300 people. The Italian investor Pizzarotti Group has another project in Montenegro: Porto Novi in Kumbor. It has completed projects in Monte Carlo, on the French Riviera and in New York.
