Romanian housing price jump 4.7% in Q2

Housing prices in Romania increased by 4.7 percent q-o-q in the second quarter of the year, the third biggest jump reported in the EU, according to the latest figures by Eurostat. Romania’s Q2 results trails Latvia, which reported a 6.1-percent jump in its housing prices for the quarter and Slovakia, where prices increased by 5.6 percent, according to the data. Hungary, meanwhile, came in last with a place with a 1.5-percent decrease in housing prices in Q2, Eurostat writes.
