Approximately 91,000 sqm of new space was added to to the Dresden office market in 2016, and BNP Paribas analysts say this year’s turnover is on course to exceed the average annual growth rate for the sector. Major deals for 2017 include the acquisition of the Schokopack building at Breitscheidstrasse 48. The city’s office vacancy rate is currently below 8 percent. Dresden was recently named one of the five most promising cities in Germany, according to a survey by the Hamburg Institute of International Economics and Privatbank Berenberg.
